Predator 3500 wont stay running

HF Predator 3500 generator

I have 51 hours on this generator and the only deplay that shows something other than zero is run time and hours.

Picked up a used Predator (4000) watt generator for super cheap ($30). Physically in great condition for the most part. It would barely run.
